Thinking about how Thanos’ “love” for Gamora was illustrated in Infinity War by showing he had the “strength” to murder her – treating her like a precious object to be discarded – while Peter’s love for Gamora is illustrated in GotG3 by his recognition that she is her own person and that he does not control her, recognizing her agency.
It feels like such a repudiation of Thanos’ bullshit and I appreciated the contrast.
